Das GOTS-Zertifikat.

GOTS steht für Global Organic Textile Standard. Hierbei handelt es sich um einen international anerkannten Standard für die Verarbeitung von Textilien aus biologisch erzeugten Naturfasern. Weiters definiert dieser umwelttechnische Anforderungen entlang der gesamten textilen Produktionskette sowie strenge ökologische und soziale Kriterien. Das GOTS-Zertifikat steht für Transparenz und garantiert Produkte, die fair und nachhaltig produziert wurden.

Wie du der Grafik entnehmen kannst, sind unsere wichtigsten Produktionsschritte GOTS-zertifiziert. Lediglich unsere Partner*innen im Zuschnitt und in der Schneiderei sind nicht zertifiziert, da es sich um sehr kleine Betriebe handelt, für die eine GOTS-Zertifizierung finanziell noch nicht tragbar ist. Deshalb kommt es für uns nicht in Frage, unsere jahrelange Beziehung aufgrund eines fehlenden Zertifikats zu beenden.

Seit 2017 versorgen wir die Welt mit fairem und nachhaltigen Merchandise-Artikeln. Jedes Jahr kommen ein paar hundert Projekte dazu und jedes einzelne trägt dazu bei, dass wir die Textilindustrie ein kleines Stückchen besser machen.

For this, we need one thing in particular: a textile producer who shares the same values. And for which fairness and sustainability are not just empty words, but a must-have. We found this producer in Portugal. And more than that. We now have our own office in Portugal and have established a production network of around 15 partners. In this way, we control every step and keep an eye on the entire supply chain. And the most important thing: We are there with our hearts too. Maintain local friendships. Substance producer and supplier

We met Nuno about 2 years ago and since then he has fulfilled our every wish when it comes to fabrics. From our classic polyester cotton jersey (recycled or organic) to cuddly organic cotton and functional textiles made from wood fibers. In addition to fabric production, Nuno is also very familiar with recycling. Together with his father, he runs a treatment plant in which the scraps of material from various companies are collected, sorted according to color and quality and then pressed into bales.

To ensure that your t-shirt fits properly, it must of course be cut perfectly. This is ensured, among others, by José. A few years ago, he set himself up and runs a small company with two employees. In addition to our textiles, many fabrics from major brands are also cut there. With this small team, we are very flexible and can rely on our partner's accuracy and attention to detail.

After the fabric for your new t-shirt has been made and the individual parts have been cut out of it, it is time to customize the t-shirt. Belinha, her aunt and the rest of this professional printing house will take care of that. Equipped with the best machines for screen printing, etc., hundreds of textiles are printed there day after day. Whether it's small detailed or full prints across the entire textile, there are hardly any limits.

Stick

Small motifs and logos are particularly suitable for a stick. In this case, Pedro is our contact person. In his small but fine embroidery, he not only produces standard embroideries, but also very special projects with sequins. In addition to our printing house, we also have a competent partner for embroideries in Pedro, with whom we can implement any style according to our wishes.

Now we are ready for what is arguably the most important step, so that the fabric becomes a finished T-shirt or a finished hoodie. In the sewing shop, the individual pieces are sewn together as one piece. With extreme precision and dexterity, every single part becomes a masterpiece. Raquel, her mother and ten other hard-working hands work in the mountains above Fafe and enable you to buy so many beautiful textiles from us. We are proud to be an important partner for this small company and to ensure continuity with every order. Raquel is also our coordinator and has a great overview of all production processes.

Before your T-shirt lands on your desk, it is thoroughly tested again. Felipe and his team wash and dry our goods with the latest industrial machines so that you don't have any unpleasant surprises after the first wash. This guarantees the highest quality and durability for every single piece.

What shipping options are available to me?

We offer various shipping options, from standard to express. Depending on your location and the urgency of your order, we can arrange custom shipping solutions for you. Delivery to several locations is also possible.

How can I get personalized samples for our products?

For orders of 500 pieces or more, we will create a paid sample on request after the order has been placed. For small orders, we can send you a package with various customer projects. You can easily book this package here.

What does sustainable production mean at Das Merch?

Sustainability is at the core of our brand. We use materials from ethically responsible sources almost exclusively (more than 95% of all orders) and work with production partners who are committed to environmentally friendly practices. In addition to sustainable materials, all textiles are produced in the EU. We have a personal relationship with our production partners and employ a tailor shop with around 10 employees in Fafe, Portugal. In addition, we only work with GOTS-certified printing companies. Can I reorder my merchandise exactly the same even after a long period of time?

Since we manufacture the products directly and do not use blanks from other brands, we can still produce your desired product for several years. Should a material or accessory no longer be available from one of our production partners for any reason, we will find an individual solution for you with our team in Portugal.

What design options does Das Merch have?

How can I get an offer for my merchandise?

The fastest way is, of course, our configurator. Live pricing is integrated there, so you can see how the price changes with every design change. If you need a written offer, please contact us using this form.

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQs)?

Our minimum order quantities start at 50 pieces per design. This means that you can order a t-shirt or hoodie in different sizes, but you must buy 50 pieces of the same T-shirt in the same color with the same design. For socks, we have a minimum quantity of 300 pairs per size range (e.g. 39-42 or 43-46). Take a look at our configurator. There you can see exactly how much your design costs in production.

How long does it take on average for my order to be delivered?

Delivery times vary depending on product type and order quantity. We can deliver some products such as T-shirts and hoodies in our standard colors in around 4 weeks, but in principle, you should always plan for 8 weeks. For specific time estimates depending on your order, please contact our customer service.
