The event is getting closer, the pressure is increasing — and suddenly we need T-shirts quickly. The main thing is that the logo is big on it.
It's a shame, because something really good could be created right here. And so much untapped potential falls by the wayside...
A brand is what someone says about you when you're not in the room. Jeff Bezos is said to have once formulated it in a similar way.
And that pretty much sums it up: A brand is not the logo.
It is a feeling, an emotion, a world that you enter. A world that you have access to, want — or don't want to.
Brands that people love offer more than just a product — they create a sense of life, they create meaning. That's why fans camp before the new iPhone release or wear Waldviertel with conviction. Because strong brands stand for something. For something you show off.
And people don't wear merchandise to walk around as a big advertising space, but to show that they want to belong to a brand world.
1. What feeling, which attitude, which values do we actually convey — and does our merch really fit the brand world?
2. How do we design our merch so that you don't even want to take it off?
Preferably with: well-thought-out design, beautiful colors, matching the brand — inviting instead of cluttered.
And with a genuine focus on quality. Fabrics that you like to wear — not cheap goods that disappear in the closet once you wear them.
Because that is also a statement.
Because brands with attitude invest in merch with attitude.
